Having been a tour guide, I knew what traveling with a group meant, and for almost four decades, I enjoyed setting up and guiding tours with a special focus. Then came the time to pass on the baton to the next generation, and on a personal level, to move back to Europe. As I still love traveling and working together with my “old company”, I now take the opportunity to show travelers special places in Europe in the course of some tours, which are set up to be a little different than the standard “fare”. THE SCENIC ALPS tour is a wonderful adventure through my “back yard,” and while visiting some historic cities, we will also have some special experiences and program points which cannot be found on just any tour. The countryside, the food, the small villages… life away from the big cities and some cultural events will all be part of this journey. We will have some nice walking tours through historic towns, but you will also have a chance to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere of scenic villages, and lakes with the Alps as the backdrop scenery.
