We begin in another world of extremes, Dubai, to explore this vibrant city balanced between the futuristic and ancient, allowing us to acclimatize and journey in easy stages. While there we will tour both the metropolis and head off the beaten track to enjoy an evening on the dunes in a traditional-style Bedouin campsite.
Then it's one adventure after another as we fly to Delhi, and after exploring that, on to Udaipur. Later we'll cruise on Lake Pichola, take a jaunt by elephant, participate in a scenic game drive in Ranthambore Park, train to Bharatpur for the Taj, Agra Fort, and theItmad-ud-Daula tomb. Our next train takes us to Jhansi and the exquisite temples of Khajuraho, next we fly to sacred Varanasi, where we can witness the ceremonies at waterside and cruise along the Ganges, before finally flying back to Delhi and later home. VIMY: 100th Anniversary and Northwest Europe Tour

With a special focus on the military history of the region, our itinerary allows us to visit a number of battlegrounds, historic sites and cemeteries significant to both World Wars as we tour through France and Belgium, culminating in the official commemoration ceremonies at Vimy.
